2019 Merlot

You didn’t see this coming! And to quote Brian Peterson, “I didn’t know we had Champoux Merlot”. Honestly this fruit got offered to us last minute in 2019 by Dan Nicklaus, Champoux and Wallula vineyard manager. How bad could it be? We crushed it, tasted great, stuffed it in a 500 gallon Radoux French oak oval and forgot about it. Turns out, this works!!......if you have very intense yet well-balanced fruit from one of the best sites in Washington. She good. I would bet you my truck that by 2029 we will be raving about this beauty.
